About

Originally from Chicago, Briana has worked as an interior designer for over 15 years and spent many of those years teaching as well. Now a mother of two curious and creative boys, she draws daily inspiration from their love of learning and exploration.
After moving to Küsnacht and stepping away from the design world to become a stay-at-home mom, Briana began looking for a new creative outlet. What started as planning summer camps and daily art and science activities for neighborhood kids soon grew into something more—and Craftivity was born.

In 2023, Craftivity opened its first studio space in Küsnacht, in collaboration with Pip Squeak Toy Shop—a warm and inviting environment where children are free to create, explore, and express themselves. Then in 2025, Craftivity expanded into its second location, the Neighborhood Studio Space, designed with care to inspire curiosity and hands-on learning. Both spaces are filled with thoughtfully curated materials and tools, encouraging open-ended play, artistic discovery, and confidence through creativity. At Craftivity, process is always valued over perfection.

Briana is also an active member of the local community. She volunteers with the American Women's Club of Zurich, helping lead Crafternoons and organize the Kids Corner group. Locally, she founded Little StoryMakers, a toddler story and craft time at the Küsnacht library. She also organizes the annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat Map and enjoys volunteering at her children’s schools.

Through Craftivity and her community work, Briana continues to blend her passion for design, creativity, and childhood development—one project (and one messy art table!) at a time.
